      Long ago in Mexico when the Aztecs ruled, it was time to choose a new chief in the village where Happy Eagle lived.   He knew his father would be a fine chief, but it would help if people could see his father in a fine feather cape.  Happy Eagle has only one thing to trade, a flute of white jade that he had carved himself.  But trading is not an easy thing to do.  Happy Eagle finally had to go to the great city, because he was not about to give up.
