ANDY'S ANIMAL ABC's is LEVEL 3 program for the child
learning to read. The reading content is longer and each screen is fully
narrated and interactive, displaying content step by step as in all our
early readers. This enables the child to proceed alone, receiving necessary
positive re-enforcement each time so that errors self-correct instead of
multiplying. In addition to a story for reading practice and a screen about
the letter, there is information given about each animal and a little geography
added in. As in all levels of our program, in order to develop the crucial
skill of thinking about what has been read, there is a "time to ponder."

For the child just learning to read, the ALL BY MYSELF ABC's is our LEVEL 1
program. It provides an opportunity to read words in simple sentences as well
as a skill exercise and a time to "ponder" (not recite!) what has been read,
a crucial skill that cannot begin too early. The CD is fully narrated,
employing our I-read-You-read technique and immediate positive re-enforcement
and instructions so that the child can proceed alone.
