ITINERARY FOR ENGLISH SPOKEN CANADA, BARBADOS, AUSTRALIA
ALBERTA,CANADA
1) Horse Sense Arrival in the town of Banff,
then a 2-day guided horseback ride into deer, elk and bear country,
staying overnight at a mountain lodge, with fresh-caught trout cooked over
a campfire for dinner.
2) Ripples and Rapids Boating and fishing on Lake Minnewanka,
traveling on to the lodge on Lake Morain, a Class II whitewater rafting day down the Bow River, and just relaxing.
3) Pinnacles and Prairies A rock climbing day, then down onto
the prairies to Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo-Jump, an evening of Indian tales around the
campfire, a night in a teepee, and on to Calgary
4) Stampede! A visit to Calgary's outstanding zoo, then time
for the Stampede with ten days of rodeo events, chuckwagon races, Indian dances, carnival rides, bands from around the world, and the famous pancake breakfast.
BARBADOS
1) Sand and Surf Arrival at The Edgewater Inn on the east
coast, surfing of course where the surf's always up, sight-seeing in
Bridgetown, and watching the horse races at Garrison Savannah.
2) Truly Bajan Exploring inland to visit Flower Forest and
Orchid World, shopping for Bajan fashion designs and bathing suits, visiting the
Verandah Gallery to see the work of Bajan painters as well as finding the
surprising street art, then attending the historical musical "1627 And All That."
3) Ship and Shore An outing on a catamaran to explore the
underwater and swim with turtles, watching a game of a favorite Barbados sport,
cricket, a night cruise in the underwater submarine.
4) Crop-Over A visit to a parrot sanctuary, seeing some
historical sights, then a pirate party cruise with Tall Ships. The spectacular Crop-Over
parade by day, the Cohobblopot at night to choose the Crop-Over king and queen.
AUSTRALIA
1) Modern Melli Arrival in Melbourne, a drive along the
Great Ocean Boulevard, a little sight-seeing, a visit to the 23 million dollar aquarium, dinner at the famous Raffles.
2) The Terrible Tasmanian Flight to Hobart to see Tasmania,
tour of the former convict prison, Port Arthur, visit to Talune Wildlife Park, including
the pet Tasmanian Devils, over to Strahan to for inland and marine excursions.
3) Caves and Kangaroos Arrival and sight-seeing in Adelaide,
the Barossa Valley, a shark cage, Kangaroo Island, the Naracoorte Caves and the
fossil center, Coober Pedy, underground city and opal center of the world, an excursion
into the desert outback.
4) Didgeridoo and Diving, too From Cairns, excursions north
to Cooktown and a crocodile tannery, south to the beaches of Magnetic Island, west to
Kuranda for the Art Trek and the Didj Shop, on to the rainforest and back to Cairns
to go diving on the Great Barrier Reef.
